Guzide Erturk is a Turkish-American writer currently pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing at Portland State University. Her work has appeared in Kithe Journal, The Pointed Circle, and The Letter & Line. Her short story “Elmados Elmuhattel” was longlisted in Black Warrior Review’s 2024 Creatures Contest. Her debut novel, Kül Ormanı, was published by Ketebe in 2024 and received the Writers’ Union of Turkey’s Novel of the Year award.
